Braces

Abby and Kayley were so excited when I told them they were going to get braces.  Little did they know!  I think the braces make them look so grown up --- what beautiful and fun girls they are turning out to be!

Kayley got hers on at the end of November.  If all goes well, they will be off in six months!

Abby got hers on at the end of February.  They have been a bit more painful as she has braces on both top and bottom.  Once her braces are off, however, she should not need them again.

Samuel Christopher

Sam is growing up so fast!  Here are some pictures I took of him at 4 months old.  Some good friends made him the colorful quilt and my sister-in-law Krista made the cute red & white blanket.  What talented people I am surrounded by!  It made taking these pictures so much fun.

Sam is really starting to be very active and notice his surroundings.  He is starting to play with toys and grab at things.  He brings his family such joy.  What a handsome little boy!

 Love this face!

Kayley's 10!

I can't believe she's 10.  She is such a beautiful and wonderful girl in our family.  She is a good friend to all her siblings and a really great helper with her new baby brother!  I don't know what we'd do without her!

We had family over for cake and ice-cream. It was fun visiting with all the cousins.
Upon Kayley's request we had chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. I made an attempt at professional looking cupcakes. The swirl could use a little work but at least they tasted delicous! I can already see my girls becoming designer cupcake makers! They have always loved making, decorating and of course eating cupcakes!

Each January I have the goal to write in my journal.  That's because every time January rolls around, another year has gone by and once again I have not completed my goal.  I thought this would be a fun way to document our crazy and buzy yet exciting and fabulous adventures that go on in our family.
